“Brown paper packages, tied up with strings… these are a few of my favorite things!” I love the look of brown packing paper for present wrapping! I always have rolls of it on hand. For Christmas this year, however, I wanted to take my wrapping paper up a notch. With DecoArt Stencils and paints, I was able to do just that!!

I love how my wrapped presents look like add holiday decorations under my tree!

For my wrapping paper DIY, I chose four different stencils: Winterberries, Birch Trees, String of Lights, and Dangles.

I also used DecoArt Americana Decor Chalky Finish in both Everlasting and Relic.

And for some sparkle, I used DecoArt Glamour Dust Ultra Fine Glitter Paint in Silver Bling, Emerald, Gold Glitz, Sizzling Red and Turquoise Sparkle.

Each Stencil package comes with directions to get the best results. I just chose where on the paper I wanted to place each stencil and dabbed away!

Each piece turned out unique and special!

I love how the glitter catches the light from the Christmas tree and sparkles!

The chalk paint adds that vintage flair to this wrapping paper!

I layered the glitter paints on this stencil to create a bit of a rainbow effect for this present.

And these classic winterberries get a little modern in black chalk paint.

Making brown paper rolls into fancy wrapping paper was such an easy DIY. DecoArt Stencils and paints made this project a breeze!! And when the holidays are over, I can re-use my stencil for other projects!! Wouldn’t those birch trees look adorable on a wall somewhere??
