If you don’t know this by now, I’m a Stranger Things fanatic. I adore the show. If you don’t know anything about Stranger Things, it’s a show on Netflix set in the 80’s about a group of friends who are trying to find their friend who went missing. It’s creepy and very science fiction but it’s even more than that because you fall in love with these characters and the fashion. I have binge watched every episode and have even watched it multiple times. I’m in love with the 80’s setting and the amazing characters. Oh, and can we talk about the 80’s background track? The music excites me. I try to re-frame myself from having a whole wardrobe of Stranger Things merchandise. (Thanks a lot, Target). Just the other day they marked down a t-shirt and so I added another one to my collection. I’m a 33-year-old mom of 4 kids I should calm down. Ha ha.
I even dressed up as Joyce Byer’s for Halloween and made my 2-year-old daughter be Eleven. The nice thing about 2-year-olds is they usually don’t care or have a say!
My eleven-year-old daughter wanted a Stranger Things birthday party when she turned ELEVEN! How perfect is that? I had to indulge.
So, when I found out that universal Studios is bringing Stranger Things to life during their Halloween Horror Nights, I died! You guys, this is my chance to feel like the squad. I’ll be able to visit Hawkins National Laboratories or be immersed in Christmas lights at Will Byers’ house, Or even experience the Upside Down. I’m giddy! This all starts September 14th at the Orlando and Hollywood locations. Luckily, Hollywood isn’t too far away from me! I’m excited to see how they will create this world I love so much. Joining up with Netflix and creating this new twist on Halloween Horror Nights is the best idea yet!
Who’s excited?
You can check out Universal Studios for more information on Halloween Horror Nights. There’s even a video on the website to get you pumped!
