Lately, I’ve been seeing song lyrics used with Halloween. It’s literally the best combination. First off, I love Halloween. Next, I love old songs; especially old 80’s and 90’s songs. So, when I saw this trend I decided to make my own Halloween decorations, shirts and bags.
For these projects I used either Cricut vinyl or Cricut iron-on vinyl. You can grab all the designs here in the Cricut Design Space.
I grabbed this wood blank from Hobby Lobby.
This is from the song Tootsie Roll by 69 Boyz in 1994. I thought it was perfect for the Tootsie Roll lyrics!
This is from the song Creep by TLC in 1994. I was obsessed with TLC when I was younger. This black spider blank came from Bullseye’s Playground at Target. They have ton of different wood pieces that is screaming for some vinyl.
To be honest, I saw all these eyes at The Dollar Store and came up with this idea. I glued that wood sign in the center and then glued the eyeballs all around it. I even added smaller ones to fill in the gaps.
This is from the song Somebody’s Watching Me by Rockwell in 1984. A true Halloween classic. This is actually really colorful for me! I plan on putting this in my kids bathroom just because I think it would be funny!
The next two projects I used the Cricut Iron-on vinyl and my EasyPress.
REGULATORS! This is from the song Regulate by Warren G. in 1994. I used to know every word; not anymore but I still love the song.
This is from the song It’s Tricky by Run D.M.C. in 1986. I mean, perfect for a night full of trick or treating.
