I was approached to help plan a baby shower for a couple of Oakland A’s super fans. After finding out they were expecting a little girl, we all loved the idea of having a baseball theme with a girly twist.

Here is the sign I made to greet the guests.
I love how this could possibly be used again for future children.
Another handmade sign on the door for Daddy, Mommy, and Baby!
I used Wood T-shirts
and hand painted them.
You wanted to win THIS diaper raffle! The prize included A’s tickets and lots of goodies.
There was also a game where guests could guess Laila’s rookies stats by writing them on her baseball card. Birthday, time, height and weight? Closest guesser wins the prize!
I come from a baseball loving family so a few quick texts and I had a tons of old baseball gear to decorate with! That little bear was the mom-to-be’s when she was little and I’m sure little Laila will love her too!
My husband is so handy! He made this sign and I painted the words on.
Lara and I had a sewing afternoon and made these custom pennant banners in the party colors.
Can I say the thrift store is awesome! I found a book on the history of baseball and cut these pictures of A’s players of the past to frame and decorate with.
I found these Baseball Gumballs
on Amazon.com and the mini wood bats on Ebay.
Masking tape is my favorite party tool. I use it for everything!! Here, I’m using some hot pink to make my round tables look like large baseballs.
I used vintage baseball pieces for the table centerpieces
You can grab some girly A’s onsies Here.
The banner was custom made by a friend.
During our sewing day, Lara and I also made these buntings in the A’s colors. They helped make the outdoors feel festive!
I found these Baseball Lanterns
on Amazon. Such a fun touch!
I probably live in the windiest town!! The balloons in the pool looked so adorable before the wind gathered them all together in one big tangle! Guests would eventually go swimming so the balloons came out anyway!
My husband used a couple of those bats we bought off eBay and made these custom cake plates. I think they turned out amazing!!
Someone else was hired to make the cake and elephant cake pops.
Nothings says baseball like Cracker Jack inidividual bags!
!
Here’s a close up of the party favors. Who says baseball baby showers are just for boys?! I have a feeling baby Laila will be a huge A’s fan like her parents!
