Dang Cricut!! Back at it again with these gorgeous Iron-On Designs!! You know our love for Cricut runs deep. We’ve been able to create so many fun projects with our Explore Air machines. With these adorable designs however, you DON’T EVEN NEED A MACHINE!!! I know, right! Imagine all the cute gifts, pillows, totes, t-shirts, etc, etc, etc you could make!
Our minds were spinning with ideas when we were checking out all of these fun designs. These are just a few of the 50+ designs in both small and large sizes! We came up with three fun projects to start. If any of these designs have caught your eye, you can find them here: Ampersand, Flowers, Flower Garden, Love You More, Love, Good Vibes Only (coming soon), Love & Shenanigans, Bookworms,Flower Mandala and Faith, Hope & Love
Of course, our Cricut EasyPress and EasyPress Mat make applying the designs flawlessly quick and simple! You can also apply your designs using an iron and a towel.
Set your EasyPress to 340*. Before adding your design, be sure to pre-heat your surface for 15 seconds. Once warmed, add your design to the surface and press for 30 seconds. On the packaging, it says 50 seconds but when using the EasyPress mat, the heat time is shortened. Press on the backside of the design for an additional 30 seconds. Let design cool for 1 to 2 minutes before peeling. (Please read here for more information on heat settings.)
I had a damaged canvas on hand that I thought I could use the frame of for this project. I’m a huge fan of checking the clearance section at craft stores for items like this that I can get for super cheap!
I removed the staples from the damaged canvas to reveal the frame.
I then stained the frame lightly with a grey stain.
After cooling, peel plastic cover from your design.
Just to add a fun detail, I used embroidery thread to make some of the design pop.
I then stapled my design onto the frame, making sure to hold the fabric taut. Once secure, I cut away the access fabric.
We’ve recently added a loft to our home and I’m so excited to add this art to the wall! Look how cute it turned out!
These pre-made designs are also perfect to just add and go. We used the sweet “Bookworm” design to add to our favorite book-lovers tote bag.
Make sure that you always heat the backside as well as the front of your designs when applying the design.
This tote is library ready!
For our last project, we jazzed up these buffalo checked pillow covers with the heart anchors in the Faith, Love & Hope design. By cutting up the designs, you can use them in your own creative, unique way!
After cutting our the anchors, we placed them where we wanted them on the pillow and using our EasyPress, we adhered them to the fabric.
Another charming addition to our loft!! I’m in love!
