It has been blazing hot here and I am over it. Once it gets hot for too long I’m ready to move on into hoodies and cooler weather. So, bring on all things fall and pumpkins. Here’s a quick and relaxing craft to tip toe into the season; even if it’s hot as heck outside.
“Bouquets of freshly sharpened pencils…” Maybe you recognized that line from the movie, “You’ve Got Mail.” I always loved how that one line made going back to school feel lovely! We’ve just completed our first week of the new school year over here and all kids are happily back into the groove of things!! So I felt the need to celebrate our wonderful teachers by making them Felt Teacher Treat Bags. This simple and quick craft is sure to put a smile on your favorite teacher’s face!
I made sure to stuff my felt teacher treat bags with the good stuff… chocolate!! And paired it with a pencil bouquet, of course!
When I saw this “happy” paper I HAD to get my hands on it. Cricut does a lot of amazing collaborations, like with our buddy Natalie Malan. This collaboration was with Tara from Rad & Happy. She designed this double sided Deluxe Paper with her amazing designs. I thought her paper pack would make the perfect party decor! These patterns are so fun to mix & match. Imagine all the possible combinations.

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed but Stranger Things 3 has dropped, and it is everywhere! My family and I are huge fans of the show so we are so excited about the fun new things out there! This season it takes place in an ice cream shop in the StarCourt Mall called Scoops Ahoy. Baskin Robbins took this and ran! They have their own Stranger Things ice creams flavors, cakes and sundaes. I talked about it my Stranger Things Ice Cream Sandwich Bar post. Then, I spotted a whole new line of Baskin Robbins ice cream at Target. I wondered what else I could add to have fun with all this ice cream so I made Stranger Things ice cream drip protectors. Perfect to add to any party!

I’ve been feeling major Disneyland withdrawals lately! I love everything about it… the smell of popcorn, the music being piped through the park and even collecting the free souvenir buttons to commemorate each trip. As you can see, I’ve collected quite a few! Each one reminds me of a birthday, anniversary, new land opening, food festival… the list goes on and on! I’ve come up with a fun, easy way to display these special “memories” so I can enjoy them more often.
My plan is to turn these adorable buttons into magnets!
