“Sometimes the smallest things, take up the most room in your heart.” – Winnie the Pooh
And a new baby most certainly finds a way to steal your heart! This baby shower was for a young lady who I’ve known since she was a girl. She was having her first baby and the nursery was going to be vintage Winnie the Pooh. I thought that would make a great baby shower theme!
Here are the favors. Wrapped in this adorable bee tissue paper, were Bit O Honey bars.
A friend of our family owns an orchard and allowed my husband to come by and grab some old branches. My shower accomplice (the mommy to be’s sister and great friend of mine) and I hot glued fabric flowers onto the branches. (Those are my cute kiddos in the background!)
I searched the clearance section of Michaels and found this fake book and added the Winnie the Pooh image.
The party favors are hiding inside.
I found an image of a vintage Winnie the Pooh book page and printed it from my computer.
Thankfully my shower accomplice had may Winnie the Pooh books and stuffed animals to help decorate with.
Drink station.
I have a really bad habit of not taking pictures once I actually put the food on the plates. So you will get to see my display with out the food but trust me… It was yummy! This plate had chocolate dipped pretzels that had yellow stripes added to look like bees.
We also had scones with honey butter, spinach dip with french bread, honey roasted peanuts and veggies with ranch dressing.
Don’t mind my flash in the picture. I love the hanging lanterns in the windows!
Don’t mind my dirty windows either!! I found this cute bee onsie for the baby to be.
Found this cute candy jar at Deseret Book store. Totally fits the bee/Winnie the Pooh theme!
