The bride and groom for this wedding were the cutest! They knew each other in high school but it wasn’t until life took them on adventures to different places and they began to write letters to one another, that they started to build a great friendship that eventually turned into love! What a great love story, right?!

The sign in table. Each guest wrote the happy couple a “love note” and put it in the mailboxes
.
The bride’s family had some really awesome friends who were so generous to let us borrow a ton of their antiques! This very cool set of post office boxes is theirs and fit so well with the theme. Guests bringing cards had the perfect place to leave them!
The newlyweds! So happy and in love!! The beautiful 100 year old doors behind them were a Craigslist find. The perfect backdrop as they greeted their guests.
The groom’s family has an amazing backyard which is where the reception was held. The wind proved to be challenging though. We ended up folding Paper Lace Doilies
over twine and stringing them up to create overhead decoration.

Sweetheart table. Just use some rope and tie on bits of burlap and scraps of lace and material.
More vintage decor from those amazing friends!
Each table had a love letter quote and custom made airmail envelopes with the wedding colors of magenta and cobalt. Handwritten love quotes were written on Wood Gift Tags
.
Each table also had a brown paper package with a Personalized Postmarked Stamp on it. We also used a Post Mark Stamp to make it more realistic.
The bride’s aunt is a florist and put together these beautiful arrangements.
The dessert buffet!!
My husband made these reclaimed wood cake displays. So fitting with this vintage wedding! Look at that Custom Bride and Groom Wooden Peg Cake Topper, absolutely adorable!!
I wish we would have gotten some pictures of the food table but the food was SO good, we didn’t ever have a clear shot! There was pulled pork sandwiches, chipotle cheesy potatoes, broccoli coleslaw and fresh fruit. We also had vanilla lemonade, strawberry lemonade and ice water in our Mason Jar Drink Dispensers
which also tied in the vintage feel.
I was all perfect for the warm evening!

Here are the wedding favors! The cutest little take home packages of salt water taffy. Little cards with the airmail stripes in magenta and cobalt were tucked in there, again with the personalized post mark. Just use some Brown Paper Bags
, fold them and tie them up with some Baker’s Twine.
Such a fun wedding for the sweetest couple!
