Target Themed Birthday Party

My daughter, Taylor, loves Target. I can’t emphasize enough how much she loves Target. She asks to go there connastntly. For Christmas this year, she asked for a portal from her room straight to Target so she didn’t have to drive there. Me too, girl! So, when I saw a few Target birthday parties circulating around Pinterest; I knew I had to do one for my Target loving girl.

My husband was adamant that we have uniforms and name tags for the party. Let me also mention that it was 105 degrees that day and we sweat our guts out. Taylor quickly stripped down to her swim suits after we took a few pictures. Actually, I had to beg her to keep that outfit on for a few pictures.

Lemonade Bar Birthday Party

You know how much we love the Target Dollar Spot!!  Last year, they had the cutest line of lemonade party supplies!  So I bought them up and saved them for my daughter, Maggie’s, Lemonade Bar Birthday Party.  I can’t wait to show you all the fun details!

I know I wanted a fun, colorful backdrop and used painted sheets of pressboard to create that.  Maggie had the best time helping with the green graffiti-type spray paint wall!

When I saw this “happy” paper I HAD to get my hands on it. Cricut does a lot of amazing collaborations, like with our buddy Natalie Malan.  This collaboration was with Tara from Rad & Happy. She designed this double sided Deluxe Paper with her amazing designs. I thought her paper pack would make the perfect party decor! These patterns are so fun to mix & match. Imagine all the possible combinations.

Having just recently celebrated Valentine’s Day, I’m sure most of us saw some pretty cute posts about Galentine’s parties.  I love to celebrate my besties too!  So when I saw the Diet Coke came out with so many new flavors displayed in colorful tall cans, I immediately thought they would pair well with a St. Patrick’s day themed party.  However, we’re renaming this party in honor of our favorite gal pals!  Get ready to drink ALL the Diet Coke at our St. Patricia’s Day Party!!

Stranger Things was a hit at my house.  We watched it as a family.  I watched the series twice. Ha!  We love it!

My daughter Hailey was especially into it and this year she was turning 11; which was perfect for a Stranger Things party.  If you haven’t seen the show this might be confusing and a little weird.  Stranger Things is a sci-fi series set in the 80’s and is about a boy who goes missing.

Remember the Vintage Around-The-World Bridal Shower I hosted for a dear friend??  Well, here’s a little update for you!  My sweet friend Annie is now expecting her first baby!!   A little boy will soon be joining her family and I couldn’t be happier!  I knew, of course, that I wanted to throw her baby shower.  It would be a little trickier this time around with her living two states away but thankfully we were able to make it work.  I asked Annie what kind of theme she’d like and she said “pineapple.”  So I took her suggestion and ran with it!
