Stranger Things season 3 will be out this July 4th and I’m super excited to binge watch it. Scoops Ahoy is the name of the ice cream shop at the Starcourt Mall in Hawkins. I decided it would be fun to have a Stranger Things ice cream sandwich bar to celebrate the new season. Baskin Robbins inspired this set up with their Stranger Things ice cream and merchandise. I’m always down for an excuse to invite friends over and have a party!

For the bread of our sandwich I went with Eggo Waffles because of Eleven’s obsession with Eggo’s. Crushed Nilla’s are from Dustin’s energy pack from season 1. M&M’s to represent the Christmas lights at the Beyer’s house. Smucker’s strawberry topping to represent the Demogorgon. Fourth of July Sprinkles because of its release date. Chocolate ice cream to represent the dark upside down. The Scoops Ahoy U.S.S. Butterscotch ice cream straight from the show. Oh and vanilla is just a staple flavor.
Baskin Robbins is selling these quarts with their special U.S.S. Butterscotch in their freezers. You can also get also get a scoop or a packed quart of their other two Stranger Things flavors. They are also selling shirts, stickers, and a special Pop Funko Doll. They really went all in! Oh and don’t forget to take a picture with their cutout of the ice cream shop.
To toast a lot of Eggo’s at once bake them in the oven. Sometimes the toaster can take too long for mass amounts of waffles.
Start with your waffles, pick a flavor of ice cream and load it with toppings.
A super yummy and fun way to have a watch party!
