It’s that time again!! Time for another Girls Night In paint party with Social Artworking! This time we chose the Picking Apples design. Apple picking is definitely a sign of fall around these parts being that we live about an hour and half drive from a grouping of apple farms called Apple Hill. If you’re ever in the area during Autumn, you must pass through there and try all of the apple goodies! And a Picking Apples paint party was a perfect way to celebrate the season!
There was also another reason this particular painting called to me. My husband and I inherited my Grandad’s truck some years ago with dreams of eventually fixing it up. My parents also dated in this truck so it hold a lot memories of our family’s history. Here are a couple of photos of my kids throughout the years in the truck.
As I always say, Social Artworking makes the at-home paint party SO easy to put together! Here is what you’ll need to create your own at home party:
- Picking Apple Pattern Pack (instructions, reusable pattern, transfer paper)
- 16×20 canvas
- Paints
- Brush Set
- Painter’s Tape
- Easel (optional)
Our canvases, easels and paint brushes are ready to go!
I was able to use my family photos to decorate the food table.
The weather finally cooperated and it was chilly enough to serve soup!
Chicken Tortilla Soup is a crowd favorite!! I always make sure to have lots of topping options. Don’t you just love those pumpkin soup bowls?!
Of course I didn’t forget about dessert!! Carmel Apple cupcakes and Pumpkin cupcakes with Cinnamon Brown Sugar Frosting… so delicious!
Now that our bellies are full… we get to painting!
Even the most novice painter can easily follow the instructions!
Each painting is unique and beautiful.
I also love how my paint pal substitute different colors to personalize their paintings and to match their decor at home. Jenn changes her blue truck to red and it looks amazing!
Here are just a few of the finished paintings! Loving the different colors and personalized plates! Our Picking Apples paint party was a hit! If you’re looking for a perfect Girls Night In activity, check out Social Artworking! You won’t be disappointed!
Great post! Glad I popped by!
