Lara and I both have a group of amazing girlfriends and we love to find new ways to get the ladies together to hang out. Fourth of July is around the corner and we thought it would be a great holiday to base our next girls’ night out around. Social Artworking to the rescue!! We’ve used them before for my daughter’s birthday party last year and it was SO much fun, we knew our friends would have a blast!
We decided to call our gathering the “Ladies of Liberty Patriotic Paint Party” knowing that our girls are always down for good theme. Social Artworking makes parties like this easy and painless. They have consultants you can work with to help you plan your party or you can go online to put your own party together like we did!
Isn’t the invite adorable?! Lady Liberty looks pretty comfortable holding that red, white and blue paintbrush.
First, we chose our paint design. Once we saw this rustic beauty titled “Freedom Script”, we knew it was the one! I love that each pattern comes with step by step instructions as well as pictures to help!
Before adding the canvases to our easels, we placed these adorable headpieces for each guest to wear. They come plain and we added the flowers to give a little feminine flair.
Look at that row of blank canvases, ready for us and our creativity!
Each place setting had a 5-pack of Social Artworking paintbrushes, paint pallet and paint bucket for each guest.
This paint party included dinner too so the paint bucket doubled as a utensil and napkin holder.
After tracing the pattern onto the canvas using transfer paper, we were ready to get painting!!
I loved how each of the guests did modifications to make their painting unique for them. Some added more paint, some added less and each painting ended up awesome!
Like I said, we had dinner going on as well! We decided to serve build-it-yourself pizzas that would be cooked on the grill.
Look at all of those yummy toppings!
Our DIY paint pallet held our rainbow of pizza toppings.
Our pizzas all ready for the grill…
I can tell you, they smelled delicious cooking in there!
We also had firework cupcakes with Pop Rock sprinkles as part of dessert.
Look at the patriotic inside of that cupcake!!
The other part of dessert were these!! Triple chocolate brownie with graham cracker crust topped with marshmallow ice cream! These cuties were made on the grill and are a perfect adult version of s’mores. Future recipe post coming soon!!!
Silly faces!! We took a quick break before finishing to pose in front of our backdrop. Our sparklers made perfect Liberty torches.
Seriously one of the best girls’ nights out ever! Everyone confirmed we had to have another Social Artworking party soon!
This was the best ladies night ever!
