It’s officially October and I wish someone would tell that to California! I’m ready for cooler weather, warm soups and crunchy leaves! To get into the Fall spirit, I hosted a pumpkin-themed paint party with the help of Social Artworking. Seriously, the easiest way to host a girls’ night in!
So ready or not California… I’m celebrating FALL!!
In preparation for the evening, I rolled out butcher paper to cover my tabletop. Painting gets messy! And the paper added to the rustic fall look.
When ordering a paint kit from Social Artworking, I love how they include super detailed step-by-step instructions so even the most inexperienced painter can follow along! Our design this go around was the Happy Fall design and it is SO adorable!!
The acrylic paints are bright and go smoothly onto the canvas!
Using the design templates and tracing paper make recreating this cute design possible.
Easels and paint brushes are set up and ready to go!
I sprinkled mini pumpkins and potpourri down the center to keep with the theme.
Step One!
Making progress!! Some of us are better at following instructions than others. (I need to remember not to skim over the instructions!)
We all get to work at our own pace, all while chatting and getting in some friend time!
Finishing up the last details! I love how each painting is unique, just like each painter is!
And sometimes you’re feeling less blue and more yellow… Annah doing her own thing! Love it!
Another great evening with great friends! Can’t wait to see how everyone displays their paintings!
