Welcome to a Football Tailgate Baby Shower! |
The food table!! Complete with football field runner made out of a brown paper roll, hand-painted numbers and lines and topped off with X and O confetti. The X and O’s are the small wooden ones found at Michaels. They, as well as the cheer megaphones were spray painted to match the decor. |
Check out the cute pennant banner made with scrapbook paper!
Going along with the tailgate theme, we served hot soups in to go containers, as well as wrapped deli sandwiches (seen at the far end sitting on top of a plaid blanket).
Chocolate dipped strawberries with a football twist.
Football whoopie pies!

Although I used a different recipe for the filling.

I ended up handing out copies of this recipe to many guests!!
Spinach dip with football Ritz crackers. I got really lucky that this baby shower took place during football season!!
A goal post made of PVC pipe decorated my hot chocolate, cider and root beer table. And instead of using plaid wool blankets, I found cute fleece that matched my decor and cut the ends to look like faux-wool blankets.
I did a google image search to find a vintage football print and printed at home with my color printer on some cardstock. A cute little detail for my mantle.
Another fun football season find for my favors. Football themed fun-sized Snickers bars.
