Mother’s Day is right around the corner and every year I want to gather some of my favorite ladies to celebrate them and our friendship! However, the closer you get to actual Mother’s Day, the busier schedules seem to get. So I planned ahead this year and invited my friends over for a floral-themed paint night with Social Artworking!! All of us “budding” artists had a wonderful time together!
With a floral theme, Social Artworking’s Wheelbarrow Planter design was the perfect art to create!
I love how I can find all that I need in one place! Design, supplies, paints… check, check and check!!!
All of the stores have their springtime garden items out right now. I was able to pick up this metal watering can at my local 99 cent store and hung it above the table with a few flowers inside.
I displayed this cute plant stand holding buckets of roses on my food table. Aren’t my flower plates and leaf napkins the cutest?! Fresh fruit is always a crowd pleaser and I kept with the floral theme with the other items, including raspberry rose lemonade!
Also on the food table, I had springtime candy pretzels, apple rose pies, cucumber sandwiches and lavender lemon bars. Yum!!
The flowers were perfect shades of pink, cream and yellow, complimenting our paint design.
All set up and ready for our guests!!
Getting started…
My daughter decided I was too busy being hostess and took over my painting!
I love how we each have the same set of instructions and yet, each painting comes out beautifully unique!
I mean… look at each of the flowers! Each different and each lovely!
Thank you ladies for a fun evening and more importantly, for your friendship!
