First came our Kisstletoe post, and now we’re back at it with more FloraCrafting fun with HERSHEY’S KISSES Starter Kits! This time around I was able to put together the FloraCraft HERSHEY’S KISSES Tree Starter Kit. How cute would this be as a hostess gift?! Or a to bring to work potluck luncheons?? So many great ways to use this yummy tree but keep reading to see how I used mine!
Decorating the Christmas tree is something I look forward to every year and this little tree was just as delightful to put together! I decided to use the green and red KISSES from the HERSHEY’S KISSES Chocolates Holiday Mix, as well as HERSHEY’S Cookies N Creme KISSES and one HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate with Almond.
The FloraCraft HERSHEY’S KISSES Tree Starter Kit comes with the foam tree form and glue dots. The HERSHEY’S KISSES are sold separately. Please note that you will need (2) 11 oz. bags of HERSHEY’S KISSES to complete your Tree Starter Kit.
The tree foam base could be kept white when assembling but I thought it would be fun to have it traditional green.
I found green foil candy wrapper squares that I covered the base with. A little adhesive on the back helped the squares to stay secure.
I decided to lay out the HERSHEY’S KISSES so I could plan out my design. I wanted the pops of red and blue to feel like ornaments with the gold foil from the HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate KISSES with Almond as the star.
The glue dots are very sticky so I make sure to adhere them directly to the HERSHEY’S KISSES from the cellophane. Follow the instructions on the box to affix the chocolates to your tree.
I decided to make my tree a focal point at a holiday gathering. When inviting friends over to watch a classic holiday film, it’s fun to have some snacks to munch on! I love how my little tree was able to match my big tree’s decorations!
This little snack buffet is what I’m calling Reverse Fondue!
Once you unwrap one of the HERSHEY’S KISSES Chocolates, hold near the flame of the candle for around 10 seconds to melt the bottom. (Note: This activity is not recommended at any gathering where children are invited.)
Once the bottom of the chocolate is melted and ready, pick your snack of choice and stick the two together!
My Reverse Fondue snacking options were pretzels, sprinkles, saltines and graham crackers. The possibilities are endless!!
This FloraCraft HERSHEY’S KISSES Tree Starter Kit was a cinch to put together and I loved how festive and charming it looks. A great addition to any celebration this holiday season!
