A good friend of mine was asked to decorate a wedding reception. She asked me to help out and this is what we came up with! I think it turned out great!!
Planning for around 200, we used five rows of four long tables. Each table had a silver runner, floral centerpiece, tea lights and faux diamond confetti. The two end walls had a curtain of lights behind gossamer curtains.
Down the center of the reception room, hang three chandeliers. No real candles were allowed in the building, so we had battery-powered tea lights. We also had crystals randomly hung all over the curtain ceiling.
Each floral centerpiece had a ribbon and buckle detail matching the bride’s wedding colors.
The wedding party head table.
The candy bar.
The groom’s father made this amazing wedding cake!
I found these vintage silver forks at a antique shop. I hand stamped them with MR and MRS and the wedding date on the back as a momento for the bride and groom.
My good friend has a vinyl business and made this beautiful decal for the dance floor. I love details like this!!
The front entrance. The bride’s family is good friends with a local nursery owner. We were able to borrow many plants to decorate with.
The food tables. Big round balloons hung from the ceiling were a cute touch.
