My family and I are getting ready to head to Disneyland for Mickey’s Halloween Party and we are all about the family costume. We love to coordinate everyone’s costumes to match a certain theme or movie. My husband is a bit of a party pooper and is anti-costume but he will wear a coordinating t-shirt. I decided to DIY our matching couple shirts which ended up being such a fast and easy project with my Cricut EasyPress 2 due to come out this fall! Once you see our shirts, you’ll be able to guess some of the characters my kids will be dressed up as!
I used a combination of Cricut’s Iron-On Designs and Everyday Iron-On to create our shirts.
The setting buttons make setting the temperature and time fool proof!
The Cricut BrightPad made weeding my lettering so simple!
I was able to quickly weed out any unwanted vinyl from my cut with ease!
After cutting out and weeding my wording, I placed the saying along with my Iron-On design on the tee and found the perfect placement.
The largest size EasyPress 2 was the perfect size to fit over my entire phrase. The Iron-On and Iron-On Design needed two different temperatures and times so I affixed them separately.
The Iron-On called for a warm peel and the Design a cool peel so I took the clear portion off accordingly.
I just LOVE how they turned out! We can’t wait to wear them at Mickey’s Halloween Party!
What project would you love to have the EasyPress 2 for??
where did you get the guitar?
The guitar is a iron on design made by Cricut. You can find the design at your local craft store or online through the link in our post. 🙂
