Have you heard about Cricut’s new line of products?! Cricut Infusible Ink will take your crafting to the next level! We were lucky enough to recieve a package of Infusible Ink goodies before the online and in-store launches. Check out what we made!
Don’t you just love the vibrant colors?!
Here is a sampling of the fun, new line of products in the Infusible Ink line. Patterned transfer sheets, colorful pens, t-shirts, totes and coasters!!
I started by lining up my Infusible Ink transfer sheets on my cutting mat.
Ready, set, cut!
Once our designs were cut, I peeled off the transfer sheets.
I weeded the cut designs.
I prepped my coasters by cleaning them with a lint-free cloth.
I affixed the cut design with Cricut’s special heat resistant tape to keep the transfer sheet secure.
I set my EasyPress 2 to 400 degrees and 240 seconds, which is the setting recommended by Cricut. I placed a piece of white cardstock on top of the EasyPress mat.
I placed the coaster design-side down on top of the cardstock.
I covered the coaster with butcher paper.
I placed the EasyPress 2 on top of the butcher paper and pressed the start button.
Once EasyPress 2 is done, wait a good 5-7 minutes for the coaster to cool down. It will be HOT! So don’t skip this step!! Once cooled, I peeled off tape and transfer sheet.
The final reveal! So shiny and colorful!
Look how the muted tones in the transfer sheet brighten up once applied to the coaster!
I’m WILD about these coasters!! Cricut Infusible Ink is such a fun and amazing product line! I can’t wait to get my hands on more! Infusible Ink is exclusively at Michaels (until October 2019) starting online June 16th, 2019 and in-store starting June 21st, 2019. Be sure to check out our video below!
