We posted this picture on our Instagram around 7 months ago and that was the beginning of our shell off restoration. We began by bracing the inside of the shell with 2×12’s, 4×4’s, strong tie braces and A LOT of screws!

My second oldest “graduated” from 8th grade this year! She also celebrated her 14th birthday in May so we decided to combine the two celebrations for one big flamingle! What better theme for a teenage girl than Flamingos!
Rose gold + flamingos + black and white = match made in heaven!
Want a little piece of Magnolia Farms in your home? Until we can finally take that road trip to the Silos, we’ll settle for this easy DIY faux magnolia leaf wreath that JoAnna would be proud of. And to tell you the truth, $98 is a lot of cash to drop on a wreath. Sorry, Joanna, we really do love you.
Who isn’t obsessed with Chip and Joanna Gaines these days?? I fully admit that I’m glued to the TV anytime “Fixer Upper” is on. I usually try to brainstorm ways to get my husband to move to Waco, Texas while watching. However, during a recent episode, I fell in love with a magnolia leaf wreath Joanna placed on the lucky family’s new front door. I needed to make one my own home!
Meghan (A.K.A @jollygoodfellow) and Lara (A.K.A @happyastle) are friends, stay-at-home moms, and now, bloggers! Since the very beginning we have put on parties so we started to blog about it. We also love DIY’s, crafts and yummy recipes. We are obsessed with Disneyland and Diet Coke.
Meghan-I’m a proud police wife and mom to 5 kiddos- 3 daughters and 2 sons. And yes, I do have my hands full! Recently, we officially became an Airstream family. Looking forward to roadtripping…after we completely renovate the thing. My husband calls me a total Disney geek and he’s absolutely right. In fact, I’m totally not a runner but earlier this year I completed a half marathon just so I could run through Disneyland. I love to plan a good party and totally thrive on the stressful days beforehand. Call me a glutton for punishment. I like to dabble in interior design and am always adding to my honey-do list. Luckily, he’s a glutton for punishment too. A match made in heaven. I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for 13 years now and have loved being able to do that but I’m looking forward to this blog helping me discover who I am outside of “mom”.
Lara- I’m a stay-at-home mom to 4 crazy beautiful kids. 2 boys and 2 girls. My first 3 are 2 years apart and there’s an 8 year gap to my last. We thought we were done at 3 and then changed our minds 7 years down the road and we couldn’t be happier. We recently moved to the Bay Area. We have moved a lot lately and I’m in no mood to do it soon. I don’t want to see another moving box for a while. I have also been a Zumba instructor since 2010. Because of that I was able to grab a selfie with Daddy Yankee in the airport and dance on stage with Chino y Nacho. I love me some salsa- the music and the food. I have a love for all things Disney. Seriously, just play any movie or even just the song and I start to tear up. I know it’s totally lame and my kids make fun of me for it. I love to try new things and this blog is a new thing.
We’ve been friends now for a decade now after we met in the hallways at church. We have made multiple Disneyland trips together and pretty much just love to go on adventures together. We also have a bad habit of leaving our bathroom like a crack-addict has been there even though we hate putting on makeup if unnecessary. LOL
Guess what?!? We were picked as favorites on 3 different blogs this week. We just started this blog over a month ago and are super surprised to even get recognized. Thank you so much for stopping by we are happy people are enjoying it.
